[The screen of the communicator had a lot of static and was fading in and out.  Well, this was mostly due to it falling from a fairly high distance. There seemed to be a feline like growl in the background followed by a hiss. It eventually focused a bit showing a tree and a woman in a white lab coat pushing herself back up on the limb.
